Employee Retention Tax Credit FAQ, Eligibility Check & Rebate Claims Launched

Nov 7, 2023

This comprehensive FAQ launched by the specialists at ERTC Guy explores everything employers need to maximize their pandemic relief, regardless of PPP loan status. It also includes several no-cost, no-obligation tools, for checking a business's eligibility and estimating their available rebate.

Although most business owners have heard of the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program, this pandemic relief option has gone through several amendments, leaving many employers with more questions than answers. This new FAQ launched by ERTC Guy explores everything business owners need to know to complete a claim and maximize their rebates.

More information about the ERTC program frequently asked questions, and the no-cost eligibility checking tool can be found at https://ertcguy.com/employee-retention-tax-credit-faq/

These new tools launched by ERTC Guy are available with no cost or obligation for any employer, including startups and non-profit organizations. By answering 10 questions about their business, which don’t ask for any proprietary information, employers can quickly determine if they qualify for rebates, and how much they may be eligible for.

The ERTC program has allowed employers to claim up to $26,000 per employee in rebates from the federal government, which are not a loan or deferral and never require repayment. These rebates are reimbursement for wages paid during the recent pandemic, which the government offered as an incentive to keep employees on the payroll throughout 2020 and 2021.

Employers can access these rebates for nearly any business type, as long as they had between 5 and 500 W-2 employees on the payroll during the pandemic, and had their business negatively affected by it in some way. A full list of ways a business may have been affected can be found on the ERTC Guy website, including suffering financial losses, remote working limitations, or temporary closures.

Eligible employers can submit an application for an ERTC rebate, after using the information provided on the ERTC Guy website to complete their paperwork, or they can use the ERTC Guy application service to ensure they receive the maximum allowable rebate. With no upper limit on funding, this service has helped some employers to claim more than $750,000 in rebates.

Employers who have already enrolled in or received payments through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) are encouraged to apply, even if they have been previously disqualified. After several changes to the ERTC guidelines, these employers are now nearly certain to qualify, regardless of their PPP loan status.
